I have very sensitive skin around my eyes, including my eyelids, but lotions irritate and burn the skin. Any ideas on what I could use that wont%26#039; burn?|||Just close your eyes and put the lotion on your face.Make sure it%26#039;s fragrance free lotion. It should tell you whether or not it%26#039;s fragrance free on the front of the bottle.|||try the eye treatment from Jafra cosmetics; on the website you can read about the ingredients in the products; I was just told recently that a person with skin sensitivities due to chemo used these products as they were the only ones that didn%26#039;t burn her skin|||plz cut the cucumber and put it one peace on your eys sometime|||For starters, Make sure you wash your hands before ever touching your face or eyes!
Put a thin coat of Vaseline around your eyes.
This will help with continued use.
Vaseline is a great product- its used on babies privates (it keeps them soft and rash free), Vaseline is also used to soften dry, ashy, flaky, irritated skin.|||Clinique makes a great moisturizer specifically for the skin around the eyes. It%26#039;s the one I use and it%26#039;s great.

How long after I start the Pill will it take for my skin to clear up?
I was on the Pill for about 3 years, then took a year off to try bc with no hormones. Well, I am going back on the Pill and was wondering how long it will take for my skin to clear up.|||1-6 months depending - some people start noticing a difference early and for others it takes ages
Harriet|||It can take about 3 months for the pill to start clearing up the acne (an example only).
However, I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they say.|||i noticed a difference after one month, but my acne is almost entirely hormonal

How to temporarily turn your skin blue for a party?
Well, I have to dress up as this character for my little sister%26#039;s birthday party (yeesh) and I was wondering how to make the skin on my arms and face look blue? Or what product to use? My legs will be covered so that%26#039;s fine, and I don%26#039;t what to use that will come out within the next few days.
Thank you!
Sorry if this isnt in the right catagory I wasn%26#039;t sure where to put it.|||Um, don%26#039;t use food dye, you%26#039;ll be blue for a week, and the colored sunscreen turns clear after application. You should go to a costume store and get some body paint. It can be inexpensive, and it is meant for your skin.
OR you could go buy a pallet of blue eye shadows. Again, meant for your skin.
Have fun!|||I did it very successfully with a washable crayola marker one time. It lasted for a whole football game (so at least three hours) and I was able to wash it off very easily after I was done. It would probably have lasted much longer, b/c it was still pretty dark when I washed it all off.
You have to be patient to get your whole face and arms blue, but it will take much less time than you think. I think I did my face and neck in about 10 minutes.|||I%26#039;m sure that they make blue body paint. You see people at sporting events with it all the time. I would look through the yellow pages for a costume or party shop and give some calls. They should be able to help you. Or you can try to find some blue spandex lol and then just paint your face and hands.|||probably body paint would do the trick ;) but if you cant find that just use regular art paint it%26#039;l be fine you can scrub it of without alot of trouble, or if you cant even find regular pain use a sharpie|||blue zinc,or have a bath and put heaps of blue food dye in 6bottles will do the job depending on size|||That um.. blue sunscreen stuff for kids, snd there is different colors.. ya know?
Thank you!

How do I remove dead skin cells from my face and body?
I tried using a loofah but it kinda hurts. I dont know if I am using it right. Can I use a loofah on my face? If so, what and how should I do it? Also, are there any homemade mixtures to help get rid of dead skin cells?|||I use a mixture of salt (regular or sea ), sugar, small amount of almond oil or olive oil and honey. It removes dead skin, hydrates and helps with acne. The salt helps acne.I have used it for years.|||Thanks!.. i will try it :) Report Abuse
|||MOST DEFINIETLY WORKS!!!!
I tried the mixture as soon as i got offline just out of curiosity and i saw results as soon as i removed it.I was a little confused as to how much of each ingredient to use but I kinda just added til it felt right and it REALLY works. Thanks Sooo Much 4 sharing Report Abuse
|||Just take a nice shower. Using your hands and sponges to scrub ought to be good enough. Shampoo helps too.|||The best exfoliator is plain old sugar. It takes off the dead skin and is a natural healer.
You can make your own exfoliator with sugar and some essential oil, like almond to moisturize.|||apricot scrubs or other scrubs work great! spend about a minute gently working it over your face with your hands %26amp; rinse off. your skin should feel somewhat cool afterward. thats what happens when you get the dead skin cells off. dont do this often. i would say once a week too avoid irritation. %26amp; cleanse like normal. your skin will feel soo soft!|||Hello,
there are many recipes for body scrub that you can make at home. It is important to either make your own or purchase a scrub to keep the skin healthy. Need to keep the dead skin off. The face need a little lighter maybe softer scrub.
Nice day,

How can you tell if desert sandstone has been subjected to onion skin weathering?
Onion skin weathering - does it break away in dome - like LAYERS as when breaking up an onion? Such type of weatherring is common in sandstones that lack clear bedding structures; it is also a common way that granites weather. This is more geomorphological than geological - the result of continual heating and cooling of the rock.
Sandstone grains are described in terms of angularity - six categories from very angular - angular - subangular - subrounded - rounded - very rounded.
shape or sphericity - 2 categories - poor or good
sorting (how varied the sandstone grain size is) very well sorted, well sorted, moderately sorted or poorly sorted.
(See reference below)|||Yes, especially in the field. The nearly spherical sections are usually easy to see around the rock that is undergoing onion skin exfoliation.
The rock itself shows a tendency to rounding.
If you are handed a rock with onionskin weathering it may not be so obvious. The roundedness is a good clue, especially if it is a rock you know is not normally rounded, and not from a river (which you can not tell just by looking at it). ANother good clue is tapping or smacking it. If the piece flakes off as a small spherical section you know it is onionskin weathering.
Sand grains can be well-rounded, sub-rounded, sub angular and angular. These terms can be described more specifically by adding other details.|||Likely by the appearance (which see in link) where an embedded rock exhibiting layers appears %26#039;sliced%26#039; in half revealing its %26#039;skins%26#039; like an onion.

How do you tell if you have a warm skin tone or a cool skin tone?
And which are good colors for each? Does eye color play a factor?|||your eye color has nothing to do with it. my mom has blue/grey cool eyes, and has warm skin tone.
warm skin tones look great in earthy warm colors like yellows, dark reds, oranges, peach, corals, etc. If you are warm you will look better in gold. don%26#039;t look as good in pure white or black.
Cool tones look better in colors like blues, true red, purple, pure white, black, pinks, etc. If you are cool, you probably will look better in silver.
hold up clothing or something colored against your skin, and you will see a difference.|||Its skin color- not eyes.
Warm is more like yellows.
cool is blues.
