Is it normal for your skin to burn after taking off facial hair removal cream?

I use Nair Facial Hair Removal Cream once in a while on my upper lip. When I take it off after about 7-8 minutes, it burns. Is that normal or am I having an allergic reaction to it? It tends to still burn %26#039;till the next day. If you have any tips to stop the burning, please do tell. :)

THANKS!|||the burning happens to me when i used nair on my legs, but it was because i left it on for too long.

try keeping it on for less time.

the burning could stop.

it also might be because your skin is really sensitive.

try a special hair removal for sensitive facial skin.|||Nair is horrible! Even if you applied it to your legs it would burn! The ingredients are so strong, it%26#039;s scary. If you insist on using Nair (verses Tweezers or laser hair removal) Try shortening your time. You say you wait 7-8 minutes? Try 4 minutes, then check.

As a matter of fact, I think the bottle recommends not going over 5min. You could be burning your skin, literally. Cut you time in half.|||nair is not for facial air.... nair is for tougher skin. use something honey based / organic for your face.|||ohhhh yes

its normal for it to burn

or maybe your allergic

but normally it just burns itll get better

but if u start to see red sopts

go to a derma
