How do you make you skin more pale naturally?

Without make-up or concealer or foundation.

i hate tans b ut i do like going in the sun.

i just enjoy being very plae.

So how can i keep my skin pale,

while still being in the sun.

sunscreen doesn%26#039;t work for me either.|||Try leaving a mixture of lemon juice and baking soda on your skin. Don%26#039;t leave it on for longer than ten minutes, because it will irritate your skin. Rince it off with warm water.

Wearing baby powder on your face will make it appear paler, but I know that%26#039;s kind of like makeup.

In Japan, they sell special sunscreens that prevent tanning. Try looking online.

I hope I helped!|||you can try lemons|||http://ngupta.qbeautyzone.com/|||Scrub your sun hard with a brillo pad|||If you go in the sun, you%26#039;ll always tan......why would you wanna be more pale?? the only way to do that is to not go in the sun, sorry.|||its impossible if your in the sun...|||You should research on the internet for Japanese skin whitening creams and soaps. It is popular to be as white as milk over in Asia. Supposedly these products are so effective that they work on dark skinned people also.|||sounds like you%26#039;re doing everything possible to not keeping your skin pale. you like the sun. you won%26#039;t wear sunscreen. wear a burka maybe|||No other way unless you%26#039;re out of the sun but you could use sun screen when you go out and it%26#039;ll help it to not get too tan if at all|||why would you want to do that|||i think there is sunblock with a really high SPF and i think that it is really hard to get tan if you wear it - and u could just use an umbrella when u go outside.

Other wise there isn%26#039;t ne way to do it without sunblock

What is the best kind of body lotion to help maintain youthful skin?

What should I be looking for? I dont have wrinkles (I%26#039;m 28) but I want to start using a body lotion (mostly at night after I shower) that will help maintain younger looking skin. Should I be looking for certain vitamins in the lotions? Does anyone have any recommendations? |||Vaseline Intensive Care. Its really good for keeping in moisture, it isn%26#039;t incredibly expensive, it has vitamin E, which is really good for keeping away wrinkles. Its non greasy, and it doesn%26#039;t have a god awful overwhelmingly sweet scent.

(Cocoa butter is nice, but its greasy, and has a really strong smell)

(Retinal A might have long term side effects, the FDA has said they don%26#039;t know how safe it is to use over a long period of time....)|||just remember when putting suff on your face rub up because if you pull your skin down it will cause wrinkles in the lon run Report Abuse
|||Short answer: aveeno

Long answer: Healthy skin starts on the inside. Its nice to think that something topical could keep our skin healthy, but it just isn%26#039;t this way. Creams can help, but its only temporary. I like aveeno myself. Its light and soothing on dry skin. Lack of lipids and collagen elastin causes wrinkles. So something with those ingredients in it could help soothe for the most part. One of the best ways to prevent wrinkles is to always have sunscreen on. If you use a night cream or moisturizer on your face like i do, mix in some sunscreen into it.

Keep yourself well hydrated. I know its been said, but there%26#039;s truth to it. There%26#039;s weird little tips that people have like.. not to frown, not to make kissy faces, like when you smoke a cigarette or drink through a straw, but i mean.. if you%26#039;re going to consciously not do normal things like that just so you don%26#039;t eventually get wrinkles.. its a little overboard in my books.

Health radiates through your skin, just take good care of yourself and it will show :)|||The others answerers are right vitamin e is excellent for the skin

What is the best way to get rid of an under the skin pimples?

I have been using my regular face wash and everything but it just won%26#039;t go down =/. Any suggestions?|||You need to get benzoyl peroxide cream. They have all kinds at drugstores..before bed you put a little bit of the cream on the pimples and rub it in. Do this for a couple of days and it%26#039;ll go down|||I had perfect skin, and in one month, I was left with under the skin pimples. No one was able to see them, but they could be felt. Anyway I went to the derm, and she put me on accutane (which isn%26#039;t bad, like people say it is) and now their gone and they haven%26#039;t come back. So if creams and facial wash aren%26#039;t doing anything, they may need something stronger, like antibiotics. I would take an appointment with your doctor, just to be on the safe side.|||I had that same problem no more than 3 days ago, I was at work and I scratched my face just to find a nice red one on the tip of my nose. I used Clean and Clear Advantage acne spot treatment, and it was gone by the next morning. Just wash, apply and leave it be.

What is the best way to get rid of red, irritated, dry skin?

I would prefer natural remedies, since all these cleansers and stuff i%26#039;ve tried in the past make it even worse.

How can you tell if desert sandstone has been subjected to onion skin weathering?

Onion skin weathering - does it break away in dome - like LAYERS as when breaking up an onion? Such type of weatherring is common in sandstones that lack clear bedding structures; it is also a common way that granites weather. This is more geomorphological than geological - the result of continual heating and cooling of the rock.

Sandstone grains are described in terms of angularity - six categories from very angular - angular - subangular - subrounded - rounded - very rounded.

shape or sphericity - 2 categories - poor or good

sorting (how varied the sandstone grain size is) very well sorted, well sorted, moderately sorted or poorly sorted.

(See reference below)|||Yes, especially in the field. The nearly spherical sections are usually easy to see around the rock that is undergoing onion skin exfoliation.

The rock itself shows a tendency to rounding.

If you are handed a rock with onionskin weathering it may not be so obvious. The roundedness is a good clue, especially if it is a rock you know is not normally rounded, and not from a river (which you can not tell just by looking at it). ANother good clue is tapping or smacking it. If the piece flakes off as a small spherical section you know it is onionskin weathering.

Sand grains can be well-rounded, sub-rounded, sub angular and angular. These terms can be described more specifically by adding other details.|||Likely by the appearance (which see in link) where an embedded rock exhibiting layers appears %26#039;sliced%26#039; in half revealing its %26#039;skins%26#039; like an onion.

How do you tell if you have a warm skin tone or a cool skin tone?

And which are good colors for each? Does eye color play a factor?|||your eye color has nothing to do with it. my mom has blue/grey cool eyes, and has warm skin tone.

warm skin tones look great in earthy warm colors like yellows, dark reds, oranges, peach, corals, etc. If you are warm you will look better in gold. don%26#039;t look as good in pure white or black.

Cool tones look better in colors like blues, true red, purple, pure white, black, pinks, etc. If you are cool, you probably will look better in silver.

hold up clothing or something colored against your skin, and you will see a difference.|||Its skin color- not eyes.

Warm is more like yellows.

cool is blues.

Consumers with hypersensitive skin, and even those with %26quot;normal%26quot; skin, may be led to believe that these products will be gentler to their skin than non-hypoallergenic cosmetics.

There are no Federal standards or definitions that govern the use of the term %26quot;hypoallergenic.%26quot; The term means whatever a particular company wants it to mean. Manufacturers of cosmetics labeled as hypoallergenic are not required to submit substantiation of their hypoallergenicity claims to FDA.

The term %26quot;hypoallergenic%26quot; may have considerable market value in promoting cosmetic products to consumers on a retail basis, but dermatologists say it has very little meaning.

I have horribly sensitive skin, and allergies to too many things to mention - but after years of experimentation I have settledon the most naturalproducts I can find. Here%26#039;smy list:

Face-wash = http://www.academyhealth.com/aapdualclea鈥?/a>

I use it once a day in the evening and it%26#039;s so gentle that it doesn%26#039;t even sting when I get it in my eyes.

Facial Moisturiser = http://www.rosacea-remedy.com/

I use this just before I go to bed and just rinse off with lukewarm water in the morning ... a little goes a long way because it hasn%26#039;t been diluted. I found if I wash more than once a day my skin doesn%26#039;t like it.

Body Wash = http://www.britishcornershop.co.uk/briti鈥?/a>

Very gentle, non drying, and rinses off easily so I don%26#039;t get out of the shower itching like mad.

Body moisturiser = http://www.rosacea-remedy.com/

I mix a small bottle of that with grapeseed oil and apply it while my skin is still damp all over.

How can I protect my skin and hair when i go tanning in a salon?

I went this morning and I used coppertone sunscreen 45 and got my hair kind of wrapped in a towel, would that be enough, do you have suggestions? or do you know any special tanning lotion i could use? Thank you!|||if you want to protect your skin DONT GO TANNING ESPECIALLY IN A SALON!|||Use a chemical-free physical sunblock that contains zinc oxide or titanium dioxide (SPF 30). This will reflect harmful rays without reacting with the skin.

As for your hair, use a shampoo that contains vitamin B5, vitamin E and Alpha Hydroxy Acids(AHA). This will help condition and moisturize your scalp and hair, maintaining natural moisture balance of your hair and preventing roughness and scaliness.|||try dont going to the tanning salon. thats the best way to protect your hair and skin. tanning salons are just as worse as the sun. your going to get wrinkly fast by doing that. try spray tans. they look so good and natural. they are more expensive... but in the long run it wont make you look so old.

How do you fix dry skin on a dog?

Our dog%26#039;s had dry skin ever since he was a puppy. Even the vet said it%26#039;s not fleas. We%26#039;ve tried a little baby oil in his bath water, but it helps only so long. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?|||Has your veterinarian suggested a thyroid panel?

Is your dog scratching like he is itching? if so, I would hazard to guess a fungal, bacterial, or allergy problem. Did your vet do a skin scraping for mites, ringworm, etc. ?

These can be treated by special dog shampoos.

Washing too often ? Most dogs only need a bath every so often. Mine go 2 - 3 months at a time depending upon weather, etc.

Don%26#039;t overbathe and wash away natural oils. A brushing several times a week will stimulate the skin blood flow.

Are you trying to get rid of odor ?

I hightly recommend using oatmeal shampoo (it may be with aloe) for dogs or tearless baby shampoo and use on a little. Mix a little water into a handfull of oatmeal and pat all over. If there is a particular bad place, cover/wrap with aluminun foil. Leave oatmeal shampoo on for about 10 minutes or until drying.

I use watered down Alpha Keri oil spritz, or tea tree oil spray, or a dog %26#039;mink oil%26#039; they sell in catalogs or stores. The brand I use is BioGroom. Either spritz on lightly and work through with hands or spray on a fairly damp cloth and gently wash up and down.

Go ahead and laugh, but to save needing a bath, I do the above with a wet washrag, clean the ears, and lightly spritz on some Bath n Body Works! and run that through the coat. I like Cucumber %26amp; Melon. Remember it has some alcohol in it which is drying to skin.

IF this is not working, there are 2 other options: a bacteria spray and a fungal spray and/or shampoo that you will leave on your dog for about 10 minutes...... and hopefully treat in a week and clear it up.,

The other option is Prednisone. I do not like using it, because of how it suppresses the immune system, but sometimes it has it%26#039;s usefulness for about a week - 10 days. My dog always %26#039;tanks up%26#039; with water and wakes me up at 3 a.m. to go tinkle. Ugh.

The qualilty of dog food is very important. I do not recommend canned.....maybe mix a little in kibble.

Look up you dog foods and do some comparing. I like Solid Gold and Canidae. Sometimes Wellness. Watch the fat content, I had one girl that needed low fat, about 8 % some foods just have way too much! They spray an oil on top of the kibble to make it smell good to the dogs.

Supplements shouldn%26#039;t be necessary if the food is of good quality. If anything, I would add virgin olive oil several times a week; amount depends on the size of the dog. My 45 lb. girl gets 1 tablespoon with each meal - I always do 2 feedings a day...... who wants to fast for 24 hours? That%26#039;s stupid. Helps prevent woofing down and bloat, too.

My dog show friend feeds fish oil/salmon oil, and different servings of canned tuna, sardines, or salmon.

Good snacks are carrots and apple slices.

I order things from PetEdge.com and Jefferspet.com and a little more expensive is DrsFosterSmith.com

I go through those magazines like a candy store! Wait and watch for specials and sales, too!|||If you are using flea shampoo that will dry their skin out in an instant. I have been told to use only warm water and no shampoo and that will fix the problem.|||it ant political correct but fry him up some bacon and give it to him over dry food bacon and fat .also put a egg in there .try head and shoulders it works for my lab and smells good to-and last thing is give him benadril regulry for a week and see what happens you may be surprised to see that he has alergys|||My Vet recommended that I gave my dog 1 teaspoon of Evening Primrose Oil in her food once a day for dry skin.

It cleared up very quickly but I still continue to give it to her and the rest of my dogs to keep their coats supple and shiny.

I think Salmon Oil has the same effect if you can%26#039;t get the EPO.|||First, add some olive oil, salmon oil, (about 1-2 tablespoons shoud do) or even some cooked salmon to the dog%26#039;s food. Salmon is rich in Omega 3%26#039;s and also aids in digestion. You can also buy Vitamin E gel capsules and break open a couple of those and pour the liquid over the food. Any of these should work.

If after a couple weeks you don%26#039;t notice a difference, your dog could have an allergy or infection.|||Omega 3 fatty acid capsules! They are awesome! You just break open the capsule and squirt the liquid inside onto his food. It will help moisturize his skin and coat. Ask your vet if they have them in stock or if they can order them for you.|||Derm caps:

http://www.1800petmeds.com/pselect.asp?L鈥?/a>

or vitamin e and cod liver oil capsules on her food and green beans straight from the can are great for their skin %26amp; coat|||You are bathing this dog far too often and is very likely a major part of your dry skin problem. Dogs need a proper bath only a couple times a year at most and on the occasions they get into a %26quot;mess%26quot;. The frequent bathing takes the natural oils out of your dogs skin, that help keep it from drying out. Try doing a bath only every 6 months or so. If your dog gets into the mud, just rinse him off well, rather than bathing.|||Be sure you are feeding him a high quality dog food like Innova or Canidae.

Try fish oil supplements and essential fatty acids like EFA Z (ask your vet what the correct amounts would be for your pup)|||Usually, it is recommended that you use a aloe and oatmeal dog shampoo. How often do you wash the dog? Washing him too much can cause dry skin, as well.

Can i prevent getting flabby skin after weight loss?

I%26#039;m planning a 100lbs weight loss over the next year or so. I%26#039;m scared of getting flappy skin after tho. I%26#039;m 20, so i%26#039;m still fairly young and should (hopefully) have elastic skin. But just in case, are there any products i can use to make my skin tighter or help prevent the flabby skin and maybe even stretch marks?|||The best thing you can do is ensure you dont lose the weight too quickly,,ur lucky ur young so ur skin will still have a lot of elasticity.

Also u gota exercise,,,cardio will lose the weight and weight training will tone the skin while u lose weight.

Good luck, Im also trying to lose some weight rite now...its really hard but keep ur focus!|||dermatologists suggestions|||Just do situps and pushups daily and that will make the skin tighter. What are good products to use when you hav oily black head skin?

I have loads of blackheads and so far no scrubs, masks or strips have worked. Does anyone know of a miracle product (not expensive!) that will do the trick?|||take about four aspirin and dissolve them in a few drops of water.. add in a squirt of honey and make it into a paste.. you can also add in a few vitamin e capsules if ya like.. this can be used as a scrub, mask if left on for ten minutes, and a spot treatment left on over night.. it works like pro active.. i%26#039;ve used both and got the same result with each which is clear skin.. pro active dried my skin out, but aspirin didn%26#039;t.. it%26#039;s a lot cheaper also..

oh.. and pro active contains benzoil peroxide.. whereas aspirin contains salicylic acid ..

another thing i do as an exfoliate is i scrub my face with an electric toothbrush.. it%26#039;s sounds kinda weird but it works.. it really cleans out your pores and removes dead skin, oil and dirt.. you can use any scrub ya like or the aspirin i mentioned.. i like to use st. ives.. and i do it about three times a week..

only wash your face when you wake up in the morning, before you go to bed, and after exercise.. excess washing makes your face produce extra oil..

warm water opens pores and cold closes them.. so wash with warm and rinse with cold..

and watch the make up you use.. a mineral make up is much better for your skin.. it doesn%26#039;t clog your pores or cause break outs.. i recommend bare minerals..

and get a good toner and moisturizer.. i use the garnier nutritioniste moisturizer.. lemon juice is a good toner..

During the times in between, you can use oil absorbing blotter sheets. I use the ones that clearasil makes. They work well, don%26#039;t smudge makeup, and are pretty cheap! Also make sure you are using oil free moisturizer and oil fighting face wash. As for the blackheads, use a blackhead shrinking toner, like Biore makes. I hope this helps. Good luck!|||An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details log to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/|||Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser.

Apply an astringent like witch hazel. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it.

Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.

Effective Tips to get rid of blackheads

鈥xfoliate the blackhead prone area 3-4 times a week using facial exfoliators and scrubs.

鈥se creams containing AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and %26quot;expose%26quot; the blackhead. Use the AHA%26#039;s every 3 days or so.

鈥void washing the face with soaps more than twice a day. Instead wash your face often with plain water splashes.

鈥ften use a mask with a clay base.

If blackheads look ready to pop out, you could try removing them gently by using a blackhead extractor. Also, Pore cleanser strips (blackhead extractor) for removal of blackheads are highly recommended for the treatment/removal of blackheads. Using them once per week will leave your pores cleaner and smaller.

Steam your face to soften both the skin and the material blocking the pores.

What is the difference between the TYR Fusion leg skin and the FSII leg skin?

My friends and I are getting ready for a big meet and we all want to get cheap but good leg suits. My friend found the TYR fusion for cheap but we were wondering if there was any difference between the TYR and the FSII. Because most of the material is the same but the FSII is way more expensive.|||Really, they are basically the same thing. I%26#039;ve always gone with the FS II legskin because, well, it%26#039;s what i%26#039;ve always gone with. But realistically, just go with whichever you can find cheaper. Remember, shaving your arms/back/legs is more important than a faster suit. And also - even if you have a legskin on, you should still shave your legs. Hairs are able to poke through the suit.

But yeah, they%26#039;re really the same thing. I just go with the FS II because I know what to expect. I%26#039;m sure if I had tried the TYR fusion first I%26#039;d be saying the same thing about that.|||The material isn%26#039;t the same for those suits-- the FSII is 81% nylon and 19% lycra while the TYR Fusion 2 is 71% polyester and 21% lycra. In my experience, the FSII is a really good suit... I wore one to my biggest meet and my sis wore one when she went to the US Open. Neither of them are bad suits, I suppose... but you do get what you pay for. Personally, I%26#039;ve never been fond of TYR suits, since I%26#039;ve found that they wear out quickly and the Speedos are more durable, but if you%26#039;re on a budget the TYR might be the way for you to go. I also was never fond of the leg suits, too... but I was a breaststroker mostly, so they were never good for me. :]|||Unless you are in the Olympic Trials, the full body suits are a waste of your money. Just go with what you have, save money for gas, other clothes and McDonalds. Swim hard and fast like you do any other day.

How do I remove dead skin particles from my face?

I have dead skin ALL OVER my forhead, some on my cheeks and a little at the end of my nose,

Some options: Benefit%26#039;s Pineapple Facial Polish (about $25), ExfoliKate (but it%26#039;s pricey). There are others out there - Olay usually has good products too.

But you need the products with granular %26#039;beads%26#039; in them, not just the facial wash which is a cleanser for everyday and should be used the other 6 days of the week.

What do you call the skin condition on your scalp?

When your scalp produces too much oil and all these folds of skin grow out of the scalp. Often caused by stress. Also do you know what the best treatment for it is?|||As you see above, could be several things. Psoriasis, seborrhea, dandruff (but probably not, too severe), alopecia. You need to be seeing a dermatologist. They say that stress makes these things worse, but my psoriasis has always been very bad, whether I was stressed or not.

There are new treatments available for psoriasis if that is what you have. See a physician.

You could try the over-the-counter shampoos for scalp conditions -- some may work for you. None work for me. What could give you some relief is to put oil -- baby, olive, vegetable -- all over the scalp, cover with a shower cap, and sleep. Oh, cover the pillow with a towel because some will leak out. Wash it out in the morning -- hard to do, but use a clarifying shampoo and shampoo two or three times until it is out of the hair. That will lubricate it enough to give you some relief.

Again, see a doctor.|||In babies it is called cradle cap, and in grown ups it is calle alopecia. What are your best homemade skin care treatments?

I like using natural products for my skin and want to learn what women all over the world use.|||Self massage with natural oils like coconut, almond, olive, jojoba, cypress works wonders. They nourish and feed skin many beneficial and health promoting nutrients. It%26#039;s best to massage on a daily basis quite thoroughly for best and quickest results. I found a forward and back motion using finger tips and front and sides of fingers, depending where on face you massage, is best (a circular one will be less effective).

Quickly gets rid of blemishes in a matter of days, conditions and tones face skin and face muscles as well as firming, and tightening and making skin smooth and greatly inhibits face aging and wrinkles . Will also give skin a healthy natural glow. Oils are perfect, safe, natural moisturizers. As you probably are aware many skin products and moisturizers have been pulled from market because of skin harming , skin aging and, in some cases, cancer causing concerns. Like any moisturizer you do not remove (most quickly absorbs into skin). Simply splash face with water and dab dry with tissues. You will be amazed at it麓s effectiveness.

To avoid harm from toxic sunscreens apply on top of the oil. Surprisingly it is equally effective. I know because I spend hours in the sun and I never burn. Many have benefited from treatment and I have glowing testimonials from happy users. See my many Best Answers

What are the pigment-containing cells called that covers the squid's skin to change colour?

What are the pigment-containing and light reflecting cells called that covers the squid%26#039;s skin enabling it to change color to suit its surroundings?|||http://www.thecephalopodpage.org/cephsch鈥?/a>

Pigment containing = chromatophores which are groups of cells that include an elastic saccule that holds a pigment, as well as 15-25 muscles attached to this saccule. These cells are located directly under the skin of cephalopods. When the muscles contract, they stretch the saccule allowing the pigment inside to cover a larger surface area. When the muscles relax, the saccule shrinks and hides the pigment.

Light reflecting = Iridophores which are found in the layer under the chromatopphores. Iridophores are layered stacks of platelets that are chitinous in some species and protein based in others. They are responsible for producing the metallic looking greens, blues and golds seen in some species, as well as the silver color around the eyes and ink sac of others . Iridophores work by reflecting light and can be used to conceal organs, as is often the case with the silver coloration around the eyes and ink sacs. Additonally they assist in concealment and communication. Previously, it was thought that these colors were permanent and unchanging unlike the colors produced by chromatophores. New studies on some species of squid suggest that the colors may change in response to changing levels of certain hormones. However, these changes are obviously slower than neurally controlled chromatophore changes. Iridophores can be found in cuttlefish, some squid and some species of octopus.|||I didn%26#039;t look it up to confirm but I believe they are called chromatophores (color carriers literally)|||Chromatifores (sp?).

How do i make my skin return to its orignial color?

I have tan skin that is pretty light. But it always gets really dark in the pring and summer. And it gets lighter again in the winter. Well, spring just started and I am running track. Therefore, I am out in the sun a lot and I have gotten A LOT darker. I tan very easily and I really dont like how dark I have gotten. And I am going to keep getting darker until track is over. Then this summer I am supposed to travel to india and I am going to get a lot of comments on how dark my skin has gotten. I dont want this to happen. So, is there any cream I can use on my face to lighten it that is safe andn gives fast results. Or any lootion for my body? I use spf. 30 but it doesnt work and I think it makes my skin darker. I have also been putting lemon and honey n ym face for the past three days but haven%26#039;t seen any results. What should I do?|||You are like the Sahara fox.|||Stay away from the lightening creams. Use a waterproof sweatproof/active SPF and make sure to reapply it every hour if sweating or in water. Don%26#039;t just trust the mirror in the bathroom because the lighting is lower than natural light, in other words you probably look lighter in the regular world.

That said, if you still don%26#039;t like it, use a higher spf, if you look around some have titanium something(I can%26#039;t recall the word) and go up to like spf80. How to treat pitted facial skin and avoid further damage?

I have facial acne for quite a long time and still having it. The most common acne I have is zit. I have at least 3 of them every morning. Because it is really uncomfortable going out with those on my face so I pop them every morning. Problem is after years of doing it, my facial skin is full of pits and scars. So if you know anyway to treat/avoid further pitted facial skin then please help me out. Thanks in advance!|||Don%26#039;t pick them anymore. At this point you should see a dermatologist for advice and treatment.|||As far as preventing further damage, you need to go to a dermatologist to treat your active acne and you have to stop picking at it. To treat the current acne there are prescription medicines such as Retin-A that have proven to be extremely effective.

If prescription medicine is not the answer you are looking for there are also some alternatives which will help with the acne and some of the superficial scarring. Chemical peels such as alpha hydroxy acid or citric acid peels can be used to treat acne as well as help rejuvenate the skin. Chemical peels take off the surface layer of the skin and help cleanse the pores.

Concerning treatment of the pits and scars on your face there are a number of treatments available once the active acne is brought under control. Chemical peels and microdermabrasion can be used for superficial scarring but will not be as effective against deeper pits and scars. For these there are surgical procedures and dermal fillers that will help but the gold standard of the industry these days is laser treatment. More specifically fractional laser resurfacing such as the Fraxel laser from Reliant Technologies has been shon to be highly effective for treatment of acne scars. This route is not going to be cheap but it is the price of beauty I%26#039;m afraid.|||First and most importantly, DON%26#039;T PICK ANYMORE! I know you%26#039;ve probably heard it a million times and...it%26#039;s easier said than done. It IS important though, cuz you%26#039;ll just continue to scar, it breaks the pimples underneath your skin spreads the bacteria and...causes more pimples. The VERY BEST treatment for the the acne, (in my opinion) is an Rx. cream or jel called %26#039; RETIN A.%26#039; Retin A will not only clear up your face now but you can put it on the worse ones at night to dry them up, so you can avoid %26#039;picking%26#039; the next day. This cream/jel will also help with healing previous scarring. If it%26#039;s pretty severe, you%26#039;ll probably have to look into lazier surgery, or professional dermabrasion procedures. As I said, this is a prescription so you%26#039;ll have to go to your family Physician for it. Good thing is, you don%26#039;t HAVE to go to a dermatologist right away. I%26#039;m not sure if you have insurance or not and these things can cost quite a bit of money. I would have to say that the %26#039;Retin A%26#039; is WELL WORTH IT%26#039;S COST! If you%26#039;re unable to afford this I%26#039;m sure you know of over the counter products that may work for you, like proactive or the generic form of it. There are also lots of things you can do to treat your skin more gently, like NOT PICKING, not scrubbing too hard (DO ex foliate once or twice a week though) or over washing your face. Just be more gentle, don%26#039;t take your stress out on your face! Try not to focus a lot of time an energy worrying. Like I said before, use something to dry up the worse existing one%26#039;s at night. Whatever you decide on, try to get the best product you can afford and BE PATIENT! Sometimes, good treatments seem to make the acne worse, before it gets better and people give up too early. RETIN A., is, in my opinion your BEST choice though, if you can get a Rx. for it. Don%26#039;t forget... NO PICKING!

What is the ultimate best skin cream out there for nasal labial lines?

Guys, really think hard for this. I mean, I%26#039;ve visited other parts of the world. So many great creams out there, especially in Japan. Those guys have some secret formula. Most likely their diet. Think about it, they smoke the most, but they look damn young. Anyway, Dr. Ci Labo is good. Check it out. Acupuncture is becoming more and more popular to create collagen within the skin.

Thanks a bunch-|||Sorry...Creams won%26#039;t do it for nasal labial lines...that is purely poor muscle tone.

How do you prevent your skin from becoming loose after pregnancy?

Will working more on my abs right now, tightening and toning , make it more durable and ready for the stretch? (lol)|||It couldn%26#039;t hurt, but in the long run, after 9 months of stretching, your stomach will be loose. Your stomach holds what amounts to a bowling ball, gradually stretching over time. Once you deliver, that ball is suddenly gone, and your skin doesn%26#039;t bounce back like a rubber band. As soon as you get the all-clear from your doctor, start exercising. Run, walk, do any exercise that will get your heart rate up.|||I wouldn%26#039;t advise that as a friend of mine%26#039;s muscles ripped when she was pregnant and she ended up with a hernia. The skin should be fine if you exercise as soon as you comfortably can. You should use Bio Oil before and after for stretch marks.|||I think genetics has alot to do with it. I had great abs when I got pregnant and it did nothing to help me. Hopefully you%26#039;ll be luckier than I was. I think it also depends on how big the baby is. My 1st was 9lbs12oz. He killed my stomach!!|||Exercise is the cue you are looking for.|||are u really blindd????

u seem sad. its ok.......im sad too.|||Getting back to your normal weight is your first step. If you are under 30, typically, your skin will return to what it was after about a year. No amount of exercise will tighten your skin. It just has to do it on its own.|||I don%26#039;t think anything can prepare for the amount of stretching that will be a result from pregnancy.

Your abdominals have nothing to do with it since they are muscles underneath your fat and skin. It%26#039;s the skin that stretches..not the abdominals.

The reality is..you%26#039;ll have loose skin after the pregnancy..your skin will be stretched out way to much for it to go back to normal.|||Gaining weight gradually, steadily during pregnancy should help too. It%26#039;s a plus if your abs are tone before pregnancy however your genes and age determine how elastic your skin is.

How long will it take skin to grow back?

I just had an accident with some ruber cement on my arm. After I cleaned most of it off, the skin on my arm where the glue was is very red. How long does it take for something like that to grow away? Do I have to wait for the skin to grow back?|||It is irritation from the cement .it should go away in a matter of one or two days|||From your description, you have not removed your epidermis, just reddened the very top layer. You did not remove anything, just irritated it. The redness should fade in a month or less.|||if you don%26#039;t have wounds you can put Aloe Vera on that.
