I don%26#039;t really have acne, but my skin gets pretty oily. I already wash my face with a good, mild cleanser 2x a day and use these oil-blotting sheets and gentle mineral powder during the day. But it%26#039;s such a hassle having to go to the bathroom for touch-ups as if I were on a schedule!
Any recommendations on how to decrease the amount of oil overall? Thanks!|||Your skin is producing extra oil for your skin because it believes that you need it. Sometimes when your skin is a little oily, using products that are meant to dry out your skin over a long period of time will actually make your skin even oilier. Try cutting back on everything that is meant to dry out your face and try something milder. |||Try some oil controling products.(links below) Start by washing with Clearasil oil control wash with green tea and peppermint. Then mouisturize with Clean and Clear shine contol moisturizer. Use a foundation that helps control oil, like cover girl clean makeup (mabeliene makes one too) and finish it off with a dusting of loose powder. That should help cut down on the oily shine and trips to the %26quot;powder room!%26quot; I use all three products and they%26#039;ve made a huge difference with my oily skin.|||I have the same problem and i have found a miracle worker! It%26#039;s a light face lotion that you apply before your makeup that has white clay that absorbs throughout the day. I was skeptical at first but believe me this stuff really works and it leaves your skin soft and oil free for hours. You can order the product here: http://www.shopwiki.com/search/Light+fac鈥?/a>
Another product that seems to work is the face wash gel from clearisil that is made for oily skin. You can find it at your local grocery store.|||try putting some egg whites on your face over night and wash it off in the morning...this tightens your pores and gets a lot of oil out. It itches for about 5 minutes a little while after you put it on, but It works very well. |||exfoiliate your skin once or twice a week, it will get off all the dead skin cells and help make your skin be less oily during the week.
