How do u make snake skin lighter?

I have a snake skin tie and want it to match my shoes which are lighter. Can i bleach it or something?|||bleach will work|||Does bleach change the color of your skin???? Snakeskin is not fabric, NO YOU CANNOT BLEACH IT TO CHANGE THE COLOR. At best you will make all the scales fall off. DUH!!!! Sorry it didnt conform to your liking!? Maybe you should have checked with your fashion consultant to see if they matched first...............
