How can I help my teenage daughter to take care of her skin?

My 15 year old daughter has developed acne and we have tried many things to make it go away, but she is just getting worse! What natural solutions are out there that we could use to safely help her skin clear up? She drinks plenty of water and our food is relatively healthy.

Thanks!|||i used to suffer terrible when i was younger and the best thing i used was anything with tea tree in but not a cheap 1 as it can be weak but by using that and after you have washed your face you must splash it with cold water and that closes the poors and it really helkped honestly just by splashing her face with cold water helps so much !! goodluck to her good question star for you !|||Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads-- it is amazing. I originally bought it just for the heck of it because of the good reviews I%26#039;ve read online, but I wasn%26#039;t expecting anything like, incredible. My acne was never bad, I had a few spots here and there, but after a few days of use my skin was unbelievably clear. It was so weird looking back at the reflection.

I also used it on my brother who has a war-zone of acne on his face. After a couple of weeks (we only use it at night), his face softened and isn%26#039;t as oily and cleared up a lot!

The pads come in a large tub. There%26#039;s 28 total, and it may be slightly pricier (I got it for about $7) but the pads are huge and so packed with moisture and foam that I cut them in half for my brother and use only a quarter for me.

I totally recommand it.|||PRO ACTIV! I don%26#039;t work for them and have no reason to promote their product other than IT WORKS! I have never had better skin than since I have been using that. I have recommended it to 4 other people who thanked me when their skin cleared up too.|||Keep her from touching her face too much! Also, her food may be relatively healthy, but fat and oils in some foods may make her acne worse. Staying away from chemicals in makeup or cosmetics may clear up her skin too.

She might even be allergic to something she%26#039;s eating or using on her face...?

If all fails, it%26#039;s probably hormone related. When she gets older, it should get better.|||I have found my daughter had some success with Mary Kay Velocity skin care line. Also, she uses the acne treatment gel and blemish control toner. You can find a mary kay consultant in your area, or e-mail me and I can put you in touch with mine. I know it can be a tragic thing for girls. I hope this will help for you.|||My brother used ProActiv and it didn%26#039;t work for him. It only works for some....not everyone. It%26#039;s expensive too. As far as natural things, I was going to say drink lots of water and eat healthy but you said she already does that. Hmm, has she seen a dermatologist? I think that would be your best bet. My parents took me to a dermatologist at a very young age and I am extremely grateful they did! They will help her find what is best for her. Also, one thing I thought of, you can buy her Noxema face wash with microbeads. I use that and it works great. Make sure she washes her face once at night and once in the morning. Good luck !!|||you can try using exfoliating cream and then use acne lotion on the face afterwards. keeping your hands off of the face is very important. hands carry more oil and germs than people realize, and thats how most of the acne begins. you could also talk to your doctor, they may be able to prescribe a pill and or cream that could work wonders.

goodluck
