How long is a tortoises skin shedding process?

My tortoise seems to be shedding its skin but its been looking the same for a few days. Should I give her a bath to help, or just let it be?|||tortoises shed in small pieces not big and you rarely notice the skin shedding off, if your tortoise is shedding then try a warm soak in a dish, do this every other day until you notice an improvement in the skin and shell, a tortoise who shed excessively is usually a sign of the tortoise being dehydrated or really stressed but with the extra baths your tortoise should look good in no time, best of luckhoney|||Knowing the species and size would help, but most tortoises should not shed visibly. Visible shedding can indicate dehydration or stress.

Do not %26#039;help%26#039; the shedding, but review the basic cares of your species and make sure the cares, housing, temps, humidity, and diet are solid. Try http://www.tortoisetrust.org for good overall cares, and http://www.tortoiseforum.org to chat with other tortoise keepers.|||umm you can give it a warm bath,,, but let it be,, the water will moisture the skin to help her shed,,, umm my bearded dragon is the same,, and for over a month the extra non-shedded skin is stilll attached to his back,,

but remember DO NOT PEEL IT!!!

hope i helped|||try lightly spraying it with water like once everyday|||YA U CAN TAKE IT A BATH IT WILL HELP
