How do I tighten the skin on my stomach after giving birth to triplets?

Although I have lost all of the %26quot;baby fat%26quot; on my abdomen %26amp; exercise regulary, my skin now looks like a deflated balloon. I have tried firming creams, but found no results. I have been wondering about %26quot;thermage%26quot; a laser treatment to tighten skin. Has anyone tried this %26amp; how effective is it. I don%26#039;t want to have a tummy tuck.|||Seriously, start running. Do major cardio! Do ab workouts as well. Use a medicine ball. Working out (every body part) %26amp; major cardio is what works for most women.|||try spackle and duct tape|||Try collagen; or any cream or lotion that contains it.

It worked for me somewhat after having an 8 lb baby.|||I recently heared that hemroid cream works.|||Ive lost 80 lbs so far. Im trying to lose my last 10. I also have an extra skin problem in my lower regions. My breasts are gone down south as well. I mourn their passing. But Im not without some hope...

Ive searched high and low for home remedy type things that will work. After all, who wants plastic surgery? Its scary, painful and Im broke on top of it all.

Ive learned only a few things.

1. Our skin needs oils! Im hearing that fish oil supplements are a helpful aid for skin tightening, as well as a HUGE list of other benefits, such as better brain functioning, lower cholesterol, and weightloss aid just to name a few.

2. Skim milk. I heard this is good too. (To drink, not put on topically. lol)

3. Despite what people say, EXERCISE WONT TIGHTEN SKIN. It wont!! Your skin doesnt benefit from exercise really. Only the inside of your body does. Like your respitory system and muscles. You CAN increase the size of the muscles on your thighs and abdomen. That will make the skin appear tighter. Because youre filling in the space with muscle. So if youre only a little bit loose, this will benefit you. But for former %26quot;fatties%26quot; like myself, whos lost over 80 lbs, this will only help a little.

4. Skin brushing and exfoliating. Now this is insanely awesome. If all these resources are true, then skin brushing not only will tighten skin over time, but also reduce stretchmarks and increase circulation, which might even slightly reduce veins in your thighs.

Your skin is an organ. The 3rd most important one that helps your body release waste and toxins on a daily basis. Keeping it exfoliated and brushing away all that dead skin, helps bring good skin to the surface. Im not going to get into the technicals! These websites explained it way better!

http://www.isisboston.com/Cleansing/skinbrushing.htm %26lt;--- about skin brushing

http://www.massageandbodywork.com/Articles/OctNov2000/skinbrushing.html %26lt;--- some more!

http://www.lymphland.com/skinbrushing.html %26lt;-- a more basic read, including a list of benefits. It has some annoying midi playing, but its not THAT bad.. In fact you might rock out after a while, thats the annoying part.

You need one of those natural bristle, tan colored brushes they have with all the bath and shower stuff. Youll know it when you see it.

One of those sites says to do it in the shower. Ive also read on a seperate site that brushing the skin in the shower actually stretches it. So to be safe, I dry brush myself before I take a shower. Then use a gentle loofah in the shower. Then after Ive dried myself off with a towel, I dry brush again before applying lotion or oil. I guess a skin firming lotion would be good after that too! It REALLY removes dead skin quite well. I flicked the bristles by running my finger over it quickly, and you could see all the %26quot;skin dust%26quot; come out. Yeah thats gross, but I wanted to see if it was working. Rinse your brush every week and dry it well.

Guess you never know if itll tighten the skin unless you try it. Ive been doing it for a week now. It makes you feel so clean and fresh!

From what Im gathering, it takes a while. Hey, what do you expect, its not magic! Our bodies are amazing machines that help us out, but we have to keep helping it out too by staying on top of healthy routines.

So even if you dont see skin tightening results, skinbrushing has a ton of other health benefits. We should take better care of our skin!|||if ya had a %26quot;tight stomach%26quot; before the kids.... you shudve not had kids... the planet is over populated as it is and there is not enuff clean fresh air left
